Nashville Singers Announces the Creation of the Todd and Jennifer Wilson Endowment for Music Education

Nashville, TN – April 4, 2025 – The Nashville Singers, Inc. is thrilled to announce the establishment of the Todd and Jennifer Wilson Endowment for Music Education, a generous gift from Todd and Jennifer Wilson that will ignite music education across Middle Tennessee.

The Wilsons' $25,000 endowment will directly support two crucial programs:

• The "Music Makes a Difference Grant," funding innovative music education programs in local schools and nonprofits.
• The "Educator of the Future College Scholarship," assisting aspiring music educators in their college studies.

"Music education has always been close to our hearts," said Todd Wilson. "We're honored to partner with the Nashville Singers to ensure future generations have access to quality music programs. We believe music is essential for a well-rounded education."

Jennifer Wilson added, "Watching children thrive through music is truly inspiring. We hope this endowment will nurture the next generation of musicians and music lovers right here in our community."

The Nashville Singers' board will manage the grant and scholarship selection process. Applications will be accepted annually from January 15th to April 15th, with recipients announced on May 1st.

"This endowment will create a lasting impact, providing vital support for students and educators. We're committed to ensuring this gift's long-term success."

The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee (CFMT), dedicated to fostering community giving, will manage the endowment's funds. CFMT provides flexible and cost-effective ways for individuals, families, and businesses to support Middle Tennessee.

An annual report detailing the endowment's performance will be shared with the Wilsons, the Nashville Singers board, and other stakeholders.

Upon Todd Wilson's passing, the endowment will remain with CFMT, continuing to benefit the Nashville Singers. If the organization dissolves beforehand, the Wilsons will designate a new beneficiary.

The Nashville Singers will host a reception soon to celebrate the Wilsons' generosity. Details will be announced.
